The Office of the United Nations Resident Coordinator and the EMC Foundation unveiled a permanent gallery of captivating images at the UN House in Georgetown.
The collection features entries from the EMC Foundation's 'Guyana Through Your Eyes' photography exhibition held at Castellani House on August 19, 2023. The exhibition, featuring work from talented photographers across Guyana, celebrates the country's vibrant environment and cultural heritage.
In a brief statement, the EMC Foundation Founder and Director, Shyam Nokta, stated, "Photography serves as a powerful catalyst for change, enabling us to capture the essence of our surroundings and advocate for the planet's future. The "Guyana Through Your Eyes" exhibition offered diverse perspectives on Guyana's natural and cultural heritage, and I'm pleased these images can now be featured at the UN House and shared with the world."
